James A. Harris, MD, FISHRS, FACS is an internationally renowned hair transplant surgeon and recognized innovator in the field of hair restoration. James Harris, MD, FACS, received his medical degree with honors from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1989 and completed his residency in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery in 1994. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and finished his term as President of the board in January of 2014. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Dr. Harris' practice is limited exclusively to follicular unit hair transplantation and follicular unit extraction.
Dr. Shelly Lovitt received her medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans. LA in 1996. She did her residency training at Alton Ochsner Clinic Foundation and spent an additional 4 years practicing in New Orleans before moving to Denver in 2004. She has been board certified since 2002 and participates in the re-certification process every year to stay current with the ever changing field of medicine. She has always gravitated towards the surgical aspect of her specialties but also enjoys the relationships she develops with her patients. She consistently gets 5 star ratings with her patients due to her commitment to patient education and a bedside manner that is warm and engaging. She is committed to understanding a patient’s unique concerns & goals and then developing a plan in collaboration with the patient– whether that be medical, surgical, or a combination of both – to achieve that goal. She has developed a special interest in cosmetic procedures because of the impact it can make on a patient’s self-image. It is particularly gratifying to see the added confidence in a person as areas of concern are improved. She has been performing hair transplant procedures since 2014.
Dr. Lovitt enjoys spending time with her 2 sons, ages 13 & 11. She adopted a boxer-collie mix that has also become an important member of the family. She also enjoys biking, hiking, gardening, and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
